Hi, I'm Steph.

Long story short: I'm a Pennsylvania-bred multimedia journalist and arts writer, based in Los Angeles.

I have a knack for capturing stories of all kinds, especially those about art, identity, culture and community. As a freelance features reporter, my work has appeared in L.A. Weekly, The Argonaut, The California ReportArtbound and Playa Vista Direct, among other places.

Currently, I work as a digital video producer for Access Hollywood, where I cover breaking entertainment news, hit red carpets and follow every beat of awards season.

Before that, I associate produced a live, drive-time Pacifica Radio program centered on national and international politics, volunteered at volunteered at KCRW's Design and Architecture and helped out my journalist friends as an audio editing tutor.

In 2014, I co-founded Ampersand, an award-winning podcast and transmedia project about California art. It highlights boundary-breaking creators and innovators across the state.

I have a master's in Arts Journalism from the University of Southern California, as well as dual bachelor's degrees in Broadcast & Digital Journalism and English Literature.

I'm always down to write, collaborate, and explore – so if you have a story idea, or want to make something cool together, contact me here.
